Belmont Primary School
The Project
The Belmont-Pukekohe West Primary School project comprises three buildings including a Hall/Admin Block, Specialised Classroom Block and a two storey Classroom Block. The Specialised Classroom Block will host the Blind and Low Vision Education Network NZ (BLENNZ) and Parkside School for students with special needs. This fully accessible building will include a hoist and track for students requiring physical assistance and will have full consideration to visual and acoustic design. Form Building and Developments wanted to use local suppliers where possible.
This project has a fixed programme to ensure completion by school year beginning January 2021. It is on target.

Our Work
Affordable Group partnered with Form on this project for the Ministry of Education as part of the Primary School Bundles of 2019.
Affordable provided scaffolding, netting, mobile towers and shrink wrap for this project. The Affordable Project Manager worked closely with the Form team, including throughout Covid lockdowns. Having a local office in Drury was of great advantage in being able to deal with day to day project management.
