The Project
Weather-tight protection over Broadway level 4 carpark
The upper carpark of the Freedom building on Broadway needed waterproofing and protection from the elements during the floor installation. Affordable Group successfully erected a roof structure over Broadway Level 4 carpark to safeguard the floor from weather elements. The project included installing shrink wrap to cover the entire scaffold structure, creating a weather-tight enclosed tent.
Our Work
The scaffold needed to be erected on the car park floor, which was being resealed. In some areas, this meant placing towers on top of the seal that required removal and replacement. To address this, we designed the scaffold towers with four sets of legs, allowing three to sit on the floor while one set could be raised when work on the seal around the towers was needed.
