Our Clients
Hawkins Homes is one of the main housebuilders operating in Te Kauwhata, and one of Affordable Group’s mainstay clients in the area. The company builds standard, off-plan homes at volume, around 45 to 50 houses a year between Te Kauwhata and Pokeno. Affordable Group also scaffolds for Complete Residential Limited, which builds a different range of homes in the same subdivision, including projects built for the developer Winton Group.
A Fast Growing Subdivision
Te Kauwhata is in the middle of a major residential expansion, with the infrastructure already in place to support significant further growth. Homes here are priced with first-home buyers in mind, retirees and families, generally around the $650,000 mark, and the location is commutable to both Hamilton and Auckland, a combination that is driving strong, sustained demand from buyers and, in turn, from builders.

Approach
The designs are straightforward: standard, off-plan house designs with no engineering complications, scaffolded and struck on a one-day-up, one-day-down cycle per house. That simplicity, combined with the steady volume coming through Hawkins Homes and Complete Residential, is what allows Affordable Group to keep a dedicated crew of two based locally in Pukekohe.
